Andrea Rossi – The ARPA-E Summit is Over – our Challenge to Industrial Heat LLC
Published on March 6, 2016
See our challenge to Industrial Heat LLC below. When following the antics of a fraudster and scammer like Andrea Rossi sometimes it is very informative to follow what they don’t do, because that can reveal information not obtainable otherwise. For instance Rossi has refused to allow a true and independent 3rd party test of any e-cat starting from day one. In addition Industrial Heat LLC and Rossi failed once again to present or display at the ARPA-E Energy Innovation Summit which is held annually. Why is that we wonder? Along with each yearly Summit they have the Innovation Summit Technology Showcase, where companies can showcase their technology and products. This is why we believe Industrial Heat LLC and Rossi never showcase any e-cats there; on the webpage for the Showcase we read:
“Unlike other conferences where anyone who pays the booth fee can participate, the participants in the ARPA-E Technology Showcase must pass a thorough vetting process to be included. Our vetting process ensures that attendees are meeting with the best in the industry.”
FreeEnergyScams.com is a non-commercial website. You will notice there are no Google ads, or pay to view sections. The things we are fighting against – ignorance; incompetence; deception; misleading statements; lying; false claims; material misrepresentations; false and/or fraudulent information disseminated in chat rooms, forums and internet boards; and all free energy frauds and scams – have real world impacts, therefore we claim fair use for the quotations and other material used on this website.
Industrial Heat LLC and Rossi will always refuse to have any e-cat vetted by any truly independent 3rd party, who is free to publish the results, because from that day forward they will lose the ability to scam any more money from anyone. And in the case of Industrial Heat LLC, a test like that would jerk their heads right out of the sand pit where they are buried, up to their shoulders it seems.
Our Challenge to Industrial Heat LLC
A link to this article is being sent to JT Vaughn, with our challenge to Industrial Heat LLC –
Industrial Heat LLC has heavily promoted Andrea Rossi and his E-Cat Technology. It is time they stepped up to the plate. Industrial Heat LLC, after raising millions of dollars, giving a large portion of it to a convicted felon, then going around promoting and partnering with that same fraudster and a scam artist, cannot now just go silent hoping this will all go away.
Industrial Heat LLC claims they gave acquired the rights to Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat Technology.
Here is their first press release on Jan. 24, 2014, PRNewswire-USNewswire –
Industrial Heat Has Acquired Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat Technology
Here are quotes –
“Mr. Vaughn confirmed IH acquired the intellectual property and licensing rights to Rossi’s LENR device after an independent committee of European scientists conducted two multi-day tests at Rossi’s facilities in Italy.”
“Since acquiring Rossi’s technology, IH has engaged in a broad-based effort to protect it by preparing numerous patent applications related to the core technology as well as associated designs and uses.”
“IH is considering partnerships with industry participants, universities and NGO’s to ensure the technology is developed in a thoughtful and responsible manner.”
Along with acquiring the intellectual property and licensing rights to Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat Technology, Tom Darden, CEO of Raleigh-based Cherokee and a co-founder of Industrial Heat LLC, claims that their company can and does manufacture e-cats. In the article, “Raleigh investor Darden still bullish on controversial nuclear technology” available here –
Tom Darden, is quoted as saying in relation to the Lugano test –
“While he acknowledges that no technology takes off without the numbers to attract financial investment – he says he’s not in it for the money. He’s in it for the potential the technology has to solve the air pollution conundrum.”
And, according to a new 54-page report leaked on the Internet, the technology has been verified by third-party researchers. Those researchers collected data over a 32-day time span in March, producing 1.5 MWh of energy.
“This amount of energy is far more than can be obtained from any known chemical sources in the small reactor volume,” the report reads.
Darden calls the new data “promising.”
“So we’ll continue to work on it,” he says.
Darden says his group was not involved with the test cited in the report.
“We built the reactor, but we shipped it over to Switzerland,” he says.
In that same article we also read –
The E-Cat is not being developed without controversy. A previous third-party analysis of the device, published in 2013, was attacked by critics.
Rossi, an Italian inventor and a convicted fraudster (convicted of tax fraud), has, himself, been the subject of global scrutiny.
SO HERE IS OUR CHALLENGE to JT Vaughn, Tom Darden and Industrial Heat LLC.
It is their desire to put e-cats out in the market, right? Once that happens everyone will know how they are constructed, right? You want to know if these things are real or just a fraud and scam, right? And since Tom Darden claims “he’s not in it for the money” then the right thing to do would be to help others from investing in Andrea Rossi’s fraud and scam, by performing a REAL independent test of a small single e-cat.
The e-cat tested at Lugano was so simple in construction that Industrial Heat LLC could build a couple of these in just a few days. No need to build a huge 1MW device to prove once and for all if an e-cat can work as claimed.
So we propose for Industrial Heat LLC to build two more e-cat devices like Tom Darden claims they already built and shipped for the Lugano test.
- This time build two e-cats exactly as sent to the Lugano team, but this time build one without the fins on the outside, just a smooth surface.
- Take these two new e-cats to a major university, not one in North Carolina, one that is truly independent from all parties, and have them tested to determine if they work as claimed.
- Publish an article telling the world about this new test before it takes place, giving complete details, other than that required for IP protection, of the devices, and giving complete details of who will be testing the devices.
- After the completion of the test, allow the university to publish, in any journal they desire, the result of the test. Also put a preprint copy of the test on arXiv.org, the same place the results of first test was placed.
At some point, as any REAL customer continually fails to materialize, Industrial Heat LLC is going to have to answer for their actions. Those at Industrial Heat LLC have no excuse anymore for their silence and failure to file charges against Rossi, because on December 11, 2014 JT Vaughn told the North Carolina Radioactive Materials Branch Health Physicist, Radiation Protection Section – Division of Health Service Regulation, that –
December 11, 2014
Louis Brayboy and I met with Mr. JT Vaughn at 11:00 A.M. from Industrial Heat, LLC. 111 East Hargett Street Suite 300 Raleigh, NC 27601, on an unannounced inspection and asked him about the E-CAT conceptual model, if radiological materials were on hand, if Mr. Andrea Rossi was available or would be able at a later date. He stated that the E-CAT was being manufactured in Florida and that Mr. Rossi did not appear credible (paraphrase) and that there was a building that he had planned to work at for Research and Development located at 6025 Triangle Drive, Raleigh, NC. He would ask Mr. Fogelman to meet us there the following day. Our survey meters were on during our discussion and at the entrance to the small facility with no survey readings from the two Ludlum Model 19 MicroR meters and an IdentiFinder.
See the article here – JT Vaughn Tells Investigators Rossi is NOT Credible
The discredited Lugano report is used in patent applications, in articles promoting the e-cats and to entice investors. If JT Vaughn, Tom Darden and Industrial Heat LLC, do not put an end to their involvement with the fraudster Andrea Rossi and with this e-cat farce, when it can be established very simply, very quickly, and very inexpensively, if in fact, these devices work as claimed, then at some point we will have no choice but to believe they are fraudsters and scammers themselves.
