JT Vaughn Tells Investigators Rossi is NOT Credible
We have obtained a report from the North Carolina Radioactive Materials Branch Health Physicist, Radiation Protection Section – Division of Health Service Regulation, in which investigators discuss a recent interview they conducted with John T. Vaughn, a principal of Industrial Heat, LLC. Vaughn is one of the men who purchased the IP rights of the E-Cat, from Andrea Rossi the inventor.
According to the investigators, Vaughn said that Rossi is not credible. The investigators found no evidence of any reactors or devices of any kind, and no lab or factory. Rossi thus appears to yet again, have created an appearance of credibility, however briefly, only to be revealed by nothing more than smoke and mirrors. So we question — what are these replications all about? We can only conclude that Rossi does not have now and never had any device that works like he has claimed through the years.
The people have been conned by Andrea Rossi again, right in front of their noses and they still cannot see it. They have been told over and over again through letters, emails, critical online reviews, many articles, etc., about what is happening, but they are still using their rose colored glasses to shield themselves from the bright and shining light coming from their hero and savior, the con-man and felon, Andrea Rossi.
There are too many articles to list them all, but for general coverage there are three main websites that are detailing the exploits of Andrea Rossi, they are:
When Industrial Heat, LLC, through Cherokee Investment Partners, led by John T. Vaughn and Thomas F. Darden, purchased the IP rights to the e-cat or energy catalyzer of Andrea Rossi and Leonardo Corp. (Florida), everyone said here was proof that Rossi and his e-cat was the real deal.
We have covered the Rossi story extensively so here are just a couple of the articles we published concerning Industrial Heat, LLC, Cherokee Investment Partners, John T. Vaughn and Thomas F. Darden:

Just for a recap here is a brief outline of Andrea Rossi and Industrial Heat, LLC.
In late 2012 Rossi started talking about his new partners.

Dear Koen Vandewalle:
We made tests with the consultants and the engineers of the Partner after the signature of a contract with strong guarantees for both parties. I trusted them, they trusted me: their intentions were honest and my instinct told me they were not here to spy, but for real will of working with our technology. This fact cracked the nut.

Dear Frank Acland:
The philosophy of our USA Partner and of us is based on the following 4 pillars:
1- this technology has to be consolidated and put at the service of Mankind
2- industrialization of the manufacturing must reach low prices to lower the cost of energy in the World
3- give back the money we earn as much as possible to cure cancer in children in the World
4- produce good jobs

Dear Koen Vandewalle:
I remain in the position of Chief Scientist.
Of course with the Partner we will increase the spin.
The report of the test just made will be important.
The informatic is important too.

No, I am not retiring. I am the chief scientist, leading the R&D process. I will never retire, obviously, and I am honoured to work in a strong and motivated Team.
May 27th, 2013 at 1:18 PM
I am more interested to the scientific and technlogical development, I will not have control upon the business.
June 17th, 2013 at 9:47 AM
Absolutely yes: our USA Partner has all the know how, with the industrial secrets. I am no more indispensable: just useful for the future evolution on which I am now working in the USA.
Then came the official announcement:
Industrial Heat Has Acquired Andrea Rossi’s E-Cat Technology
This was followed with more articles in the newspaper “The Triangle Business Journal.”
Confirmed: Raleigh’s Cherokee buys into controversial nuclear tech device
Raleigh investor Darden still bullish on controversial nuclear technology
When Industrial Heat, LLC raised their money to buy out Rossi they filed a Form D with the UNITED STATES SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION. You can access that filing here:
In that Form D filing, dated 2013-08-23, they claimed:
- Money was raised by “Equity,” “Debt,” and “Option, Warrant or Other Right to Acquire Another Security.”
- Total Amount Sold $11,555,050 USD.
- The total number of investors who already have invested in the offering: 14.
Then we discovered that Rossi and friends were buying up property in Florida with their new found money. The last we checked it was something like 12-14 properties.
We next found out Thomas F. Darden, a principal in Industrial Heat, LLC and Cherokee Investment Partners, told The Triangle Business Journal that Industrial Heat, LLC had built and shipped the latest e-cat for the second test by the Swedes. It is clear that article quoting Thomas F. Darden was just a promotion and fund raising piece. Here is the link again: Raleigh investor Darden still bullish on controversial nuclear technology
Remember all of the articles that came out when the inspectors went to see Rossi in Florida?
The report was first leaked here:
Then it was picked up here at these sites, among many others:

We even put it on this website here:

This brings us to today. It seems many people are looking into Andrea Rossi, John T. Vaughn, Thomas F. Darden, Industrial Heat, LLC and Cherokee Investment Partners.
When Rossi was interviewed by the investigators from Florida, his story changed completely from what he was telling everyone. Now, there was no factory in Florida, everything was being made in Italy. Now, there was no nuclear reactor, just a heater, etc.
Now the same thing is happening all over again. Look at what JT Vaughn told the investigators:
December 11, 2014
Louis Brayboy and I met with Mr. JT Vaughn at 11:00 A.M. from Industrial Heat, LLC. 111 East Hargett Street Suite 300 Raleigh, NC 27601, on an unannounced inspection and asked him about the E-CAT conceptual model, if radiological materials were on hand, if Mr. Andrea Rossi was available or would be able at a later date. He stated that the E-CAT was being manufactured in Florida and that Mr. Rossi did not appear credible (paraphrase) and that there was a building that he had planned to work at for Research and Development located at 6025 Triangle Drive, Raleigh, NC. He would ask Mr. Fogelman to meet us there the following day. Our survey meters were on during our discussion and at the entrance to the small facility with no survey readings from the two Ludlum Model 19 MicroR meters and an IdentiFinder.
Then the next day the investigators met with Jim Fogelman at the place Rossi claims they have a fully working factory, with a “magnifence of a team.”
December 12, 2014
Louis Brayboy and I met with Jim Fogelman in the early afternoon and he introduced himself as the accountant of the company at 6025 Triangle Drive, Raleigh. The building did not have the name of the company posted anywhere. Both Louis Brayboy and I surveyed the entire building using two Ludlum Model 19 MicroR meters, one Ludlum 14C with pancake probe and an IdentiFinder. Readings were at background of 15-20 microR/hr throughout the empty warehouse with no survey reading results from surfaces, trash receptacles and sink and bathroom surfaces using the pancake probe. There was no indication of a workbench that may have been used. We asked Mr. Fogehnan a series of questions concerning his knowledge of Mr. Rossi or/and R&D work and he stated that he was unaware of Mr. Rossi or the use of the building. Louis and I were required to sign proprietary statements even though there was no propriety items noted.
